Some links #1: "Hankey? No thankey" Fox, 1997
So I guess this is a start of a section where I just link a lot of articles and butt in my own opinions.
That Time Fox Refused To Pick Up South Park Because Of Mr. Hankey
Kinda funny that Mr. Hankey was initially such a vital character for Matt and Trey to include, and now he's permanently cancelled and fucked on off to Springfield. Shows how these shows really evolve. Remember when they thought people cared about Pip?
But that's not the major point I wanted to make. I'm just saying that if South Park went to Fox, they would just not be able to get away with fucking anything. That's pretty obvious, admittedly, but think about it. If South Park was on Fox, the show would probably have been produced by 20th Century Fox, which Disney now owns. I doubt they'd let Matt and Trey even attempt the whole "fuck the Chinese government" thing they've got going on right now.
The Simpsons: Seasons 1-20 DVD Box Set is a Super Limited Edition
Absolute unit. $550 seems like an insane price for what are essentially repackaged DVDs... but all things considered these ARE excellent DVDs. I don't think I've ever seen much care put into the packaging, bonus features, and even the fucking DVD menus anywhere else. Still, its over $1 per episode, $27.50 per season. FYE sells them used for like $18 - 23. That's how I got season 3, 5 thru 9, and 18. Hopefully these are in good condition. Not like I'm gonna buy it. Only 1,000 being made.

I like Amethyst. There's a lot of cute moments with her. This account just honors that.
Unlike Blizzard, Epic Games says it won’t ban players for political speech
Tim Sweeney asserting his dominance over Tencent's 40% stake, I see. I like that.
Dan Schneider's fake Wikipedia page
Linked to on his website as a place to learn all about Dan! I don't think I've seen anything more sad. Weird thing is, on his footer he links to both the fake Wikipedia page (labelled "Wikipedia") and the actual Wikipedia page (labelled "Wiki"). Kinda defeats the purpose of making a whole goddamn fake website, right? Weirdo.
Splinter Shutting Down
Never visited the site that often, but it's a shame to see it go. Especially the way G/O Media did it. The site didn't even get to make a farewell post before being de-listed from all of the G/O sites' headers.
