Some links #3: AT&T sprints ahead while G/O shits the bed

HBO Max It's here. And honestly, it sounds pretty good. I love the new animated content ( Jellystone! Looney Tunes Cartoons! CLOSE ENOUGH!!! ) and it feels nice for CN and Adult Swim to have their own dedicated pages. Surprised but happy Ghibli has its own dedicated page. And wow, they really did take South Park from Hulu, damn. The price is... expensive, but it's also the exact same price as HBO Now which gives you far less. So yeah. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this seems really nice? But Disney+ is still gonna kick everyone's ass, isn't it? Also kinda feels weird that Cartoon Network branded shows are now HBO Max originals, like Adventure Time and Infinity Train , plus newcomers Tig N' Seek and The Fungies . Guessing we won't see those in the increasingly irrelevant Cartoon Network now. Rick and Morty to Remain on Hulu Despite HBO Max Dea Honestly surprised by this, but I'll take any non-exclusive streaming deal we can get in this c...

Some links #2: Sesame Street and Shep on the streets

‘ Sesame Street ’ Is Sacred, and Everyone Needs Access Honestly feels like a non-issue. HBO has been funding the show already since 2016, moving to HBO Max isn't gonna change things. PBS Kids still gets the episodes, only nine months after premiere. The article acknowledges that, but also laments that the nine month delay might mean important issues that kids should see might not be so important that late... however, HBO does let PBS simulcast important episodes sometimes, like when they introduced that Muppet with autism. Who's to say they won't do that for the new opioid addicted parent? Shepard Smith Leaving Fox News After 23 Years Yikes. He was easily the best anchor on Fox News, even if most Fox News watchers actively DESPISED him for reporting on... get this... the truth. CNN says that he left because he was tired of butting heads with the opinion shows that consume the schedule. Seems like his resignation came from nowhere, as Neil Cavuto, who hosts the hour afte...

Eating at chain restaurants, Kian style

I go out to eat by myself a lot. I do it so often that I've been told to chill out before by my inner buyer's remorse and my family. I've learned what I really like from a lot of fast food places and what I really don't! Here's some of my choice picks from choice restaurants. Wendy's I get the Biggie Bag $5 combo, with the Bacon Double Stack burger. I remove the pickles (fuck pickles) and add lettuce and tomatoes, essentially making it the now discontinued Giant Junior Bacon Cheeseburger (with the ketchup and mustard from the Double Stack). I get spicy nuggets, with Sweet and Sour and S'awesome dipping cups. I squeeze the S'awesome cup directly onto the burger, basically making it a cheaper, smaller, S'awesome burger. I get a LOT of bang for my buck with this combo, honestly. I'm always satisfied. Domino's 2 or more for $5.99 coupon ALWAYS. I get a medium pepperoni and pineapple pizza. Yeah, I like pineapple. Sue me. Sometimes I pay th...

Some links #1: "Hankey? No thankey" Fox, 1997

So I guess this is a start of a section where I just link a lot of articles and butt in my own opinions. That Time Fox Refused To Pick Up South Park Because Of Mr. Hankey Kinda funny that Mr. Hankey was initially such a vital character for Matt and Trey to include, and now he's permanently cancelled and fucked on off to Springfield. Shows how these shows really evolve. Remember when they thought people cared about Pip? But that's not the major point I wanted to make. I'm just saying that if South Park went to Fox, they would just not be able to get away with fucking anything. That's pretty obvious, admittedly, but think about it. If South Park was on Fox, the show would probably have been produced by 20th Century Fox, which Disney now owns. I doubt they'd let Matt and Trey even attempt the whole "fuck the Chinese government" thing they've got going on right now. The Simpsons: Seasons 1-20 DVD Box Set is a Super Limited Edition Absolute unit. $...

Oh great, now he has a blog

So now I have a blog. I'm just gonna use this blog to ramble on about topics of interest for me. If you expect anything groundbreaking, you're looking up the wrong alley. I'm not gonna try to be something I'm not: a journalist. This isn't Toon Extra. I decided to use Blogspot instead of Tumblr like I did with CN Schedule Archive because this is gonna be just mostly text anyway. Not gonna ever go viral, really. Might try to make longer write-ups Patreon exclusive for a bit. Not now, but maybe later. If people actually have an interest in this.  Either way, welcome.
